Suisse Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet that enables users to generate and manage cryptographic private keys and interact with blockchain networks. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with Swiss data protection law, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Non-Custodial Nature of the Service

Suisse Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. This means that we:

Do not have access to your private keys
Do not store your seed (recovery) phrase
Do not control, initiate, or reverse any blockchain transactions
Cannot access, freeze, or recover your digital assets

All cryptographic keys are generated and stored locally on your device. You are the sole custodian of your assets.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is created and stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

Encrypted private keys
Recovery phrase (seed phrase)
Wallet addresses
Transaction metadata and history
User preferences and settings

3.2 Information We May Collect Automatically

To operate, maintain, and improve the Service, we may collect limited, non-identifying technical data, such as:

Application version
Operating system and browser type
Device type (desktop, mobile)
Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics
Crash and error reports

We do not collect personal identity information (such as name, email, or phone number) unless you voluntarily provide it — for example, when contacting our support team.

3.3 Blockchain Data

Blockchain networks are public and decentralised. When you submit a transaction, the following information becomes publicly visible on the blockchain and is not controlled by Suisse Wallet:

Your public wallet address
Transaction amounts, recipients, and timestamps
Smart-contract interactions

We use the limited information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Service

Locally stored wallet data (private keys, seed phrase, preferences) remains entirely under your control and can be deleted by removing the application from your device.

Third-party decentralised applications (dApps)

Where limited technical data is processed outside of Switzerland, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognised under Swiss and EU law.
